Default supercharger fuel upgrade questions.

I am possibly going to supercharge my car in the near future with a blitz system and I was wondering what some of you other boosted people have done as far as your fuel upgrade and management. I would like to upgrade my fuel pump and injectors and I am curious what is a good choice for these parts. also, I will use an e manage system in the future but in the meantime I currently have a S-AFCII installed. do you think that this is sufficient in the meantime to safely feed the charger until the emanage is installed? any help will be appreciated.

The blitz sc comes with emanage...i didn't upgrade my fuel injectors, the tech said it didn't need it. But I highly recommend getting the PE Camcon with the sc. The camcon allows you to adjust valve, air & fuel. This is my set up along with cai & headers.

it comes with the emanage? I thought that it came with a cheap black box ecu that makes the system run lean. anyways, the system that I am probably gonna get is the one being sold by quadoptix. he said that the system is perfect but was without the crappy black box.

I would change the plugs to a step colder w/o a doubt.
I would also get on the dyno before you stomp on the gas pedal, there's no real way to tell if you're lean or not. Well, I guess there is the AEM UEGO...

Default Cam-Con

Cam-Con Cam-Con Cam-Con get one. And do go a range colder or twop on the plugs. As far as gas don't even think your getting away with the lower grade gas or gas from Scooters Gas and Go.

I would definitley run the cam con, wouldnt hurt to convert over to a return style fuel system, run a regulator, and the AEM UEGO is definitley not a bad idea either. Thats what I am going to run as soon as it comes in.

Yeah, the UEGO wont let you adjust anything, but it's accurate A/F monitoring would be well worth the cost if you're putting boost into this little engine. The Cam-Con seems to be where it's at as far as adjustments.

Power Enterprise already does this along with a higher flow fuel pump. Try to ride in a xB with different styles of boost. Before you dump that kind of money on something.

As far as plugs I am running one range colder with the NGK-BKR6EY the stocks are a 5EY. NGKs stock number is 3696 BKR6EY.

So the PE kit is a return type fuel system? I'm looking to make a fuel system more reliable for the xa/xb when running the blitz S/C. Do you have pics of your fuel system?

You dont need pics of the fuel system. Its just a return line out of the rail into the tank.

About injectors, there are a few places that make them already... Just not advertised for the xB. You can use the Miata injectors from Power Enterprise. Thats what I am using. They are 410cc injectors....

so is there a place to make a return for the fuel? Also does the regulator in the tank get removed? How about the regulator for the rail? What did you use? Where did you put the return line to in the tank?

Also, I believe there is a upgrade fuel pump for the PE, is that drop in?

I drilled a hole in the top of my sending unit and used a bulkhead fitting. There is another room in between the other ports there to drill. Yes, the in tank regulator does get removed. I pulled mine out as my pump was a little taller so it took up the room where the regulator was. The regulator for the rail is going to be aftermarket because there isnt one for the stock setup. Mine is mounted on the passenger side strut tower. I used the aeromotive one with the -6 an fittings. I came out of the Perrin rail which has an outlet port on it, and went to the regulator. From there it goes to the return that you put into the tank.

The PE charger comes with a 130lp/h pump. They also offer a 160 lp/h pump (which is what I am running) which takes a little bit of "making it fit". But I believe the 130 is in fact a drop in unit.
