Default DVD/Navigation Screen on 2006 tCs?

Has anyone gotten a Navi/GPS screen on their 2006 tC yet? Not sure if things will be more difficult with the addition of controls on the steering wheel (assuming you want them to work).

I'm looking for one to replace the stock HU.

not on a 2006, but on my 2005. At some point, I'll probably do a 2006 wheel/controls retro fit. WEre you looking for Nav/dvd display pix, or specifically on the 2006 with controls?

I was looking for a Navi/Screen that'll work with the steering controls. It seems that some people have gotten the controls to work with a device thingy on their new sound HU. But I guess I can wait a bit for the leet mobiltronic folks to do their thing.

My nav kit actually came with an adapter for steering wheels controls. Unfortunately, as I don't have them, I have no idea how difficult it would be to hook that up. My guess would be fairly easy, as the unit is an Eclipse....and Elcipse's parent company, fujitsu 10, makes all the NAV systems for toyota.

I'm guessing that you meant a specific Eclipse model.....I have a AVN5435. It's a dual drive based uint, one dvd drive for NAV/movies, one CD drive. You can't watch a dvd and do nav at the same time (without an additional dvd player) but you can listen to cd's/tuner while NAV is displaying. Generally you can pick these up from an authorized dealer from about $1800 or so. From a non autorized dealer (read, 90 day -1 year warranty, depending on the dealer) you can get them for around $1400 and up.

Elcipse also has a 5495 model, which is hard drive based. There are a few more features on that unit, but it's also ~$2100 from an authorized dealer, as these just came out a week or two ago.
