Default what'd be the best best autocross setup? suggestions?

ok, stock tc with TRD springs and I want to tune it more to the autocross setup more than 1/4 mile, so what would be the best suspension mods to do next to complement the springs, and what's the best wheel/tire size for this as well? anything else I should be informed of? I wanna learn!

- Shocks
- Sway Bar
- Sticky Tires
- Brake pads
- Weight reduction

I would stick to our 17" wheels. I'm not a tire expert but maybe 225, get the extra tire width laid down on the track. Out of the parts I mentioned, I would go with sway because shocks, tires and brakes are all wear items. You will eventually have to replace them so why waste your money now when they still work. You'll have to lube/replace the bushings on the sways later on. There is no substitution for weight. It will improved your acceleration, braking and corner.

Be careful what you upgrade, as you will get bumped up in class, and consequently, racing against much more skilled and able competitors.

well i dont wann get serious about it(not yet anyway), but since I am gonna be dropping money into my car, i wanna aim it towards autox, cause 1/4 mile just doesn't seem too exciting anymore. But hopefully next year all goes well. And now that i've decided this Im not sure which stage Turbo kit to go with, 230 whp, or 300 whp? Is it worth it on the track? However if Im cruisin' on the highway and some honda or whatever revs on me, I wanna make sure I dust it none the less. Choices....

If in SCCA you will be in Street Mod class, very very fast cars, moded WRX's and M3's with DOT race tires and tough to beat, I can't wait to finish getting our car ready for it
