Default A successful Sunroof repair ?

I am askin this cuz I am getting ready to head to the dealership about my sunroof and the various noises it makes open and closed . I swear it sounds like a loose screw bouncing off of glass driving down the road when its closed . The reason for this thread is for people who have successfully fixed the sunroof . I have done the TSB and that didnt do poop . So how many trips to the dealer am I lookin at ? and will this ever be fixed ?

I am taking mine in for this issue tomorrow...hopefully they will fix it...it's really annoying and embarassing if someone is in the car with you.

Last year the dealer fixed the major rattle and the popping. However, this year I got the popping again (but no biggie). Some of my rattles came back and I applied wet lithium spray to all the joints/hinges/rails, etc. I now have no rattles from the moonroof. But I still have the hatch rattle when going over bumps.

I had someone drive my car down a bumpy road and I sat in the back seat and listened to the source of the rattle . When I initially heard the rattle(when I was driving) it sounded like it was coming from the hatch . The thing is the rattle is coming from the section of the roof where the rear seat dome light is . I am just gonna have them look at it when I go in for my oil change .Like I said before I started the thread to see if this was gonna be a drawn out process of hunting down this rattle . Like previously said it sounds like a screw bouncing or tapping on glass .

Default No success

Originally I brought it in for the occassional popping sound, but the TSB correction made it begin to rattle constantly. I've had it there 4 times now, with a total replacement, which corrected it for a week. I could have lived with the occassional pop. They also badly scratched my passenger door, so it's back to the body shop on Monday. Anyone have any other corrections to the sunroof rattle? We even tried felt underlayment for the rails, which did not help.
