Default Wiring Exterior Lights to an Interior switch..

How do you do it? I want to possibly add underbody's or LED enhancements outside my car, but I'm not sure how you get the wiring inside the cabin. Do you have to drill through the firewall or something? Any pics(esp. of underbody setups)/help would be great.

I would go through the firewall. Its pretty easy that way.

Could someone who went through the firewall take a pic of it? I'm not sure where the best place to go through would be. (thank you TRDToaster).

if you drill just make sure you use a rubber grommet so the bare metal doesnt cut up your wires

Pop the hood to your car, look at the firewall on the right side or driver's side. You'll see a rubber gromet with electrical wiring running through it. I ran the cables for my flowlighting blaze kit through there. There was plenty of rooom on the other side to mount the box and any excess cable. I should have pics up as soon as I bring my camera to work. If your looking for a really good kit, try Oznium.com.

i've run wires through the firewalls on both sides. They are black rubber things attached to the back wall of the engine by with wires through the center. The one on the drivers side is more convenient as far as the interior fusebox goes and tapping some power there. Sorry, I can't find any pics of it. Look from the engine bay, about directly backwards from the battery.

Just go through the grommet that's already there.
