Default PIAA Bulbs

Alright, I did a lot of "reasearch" on this topic and I'm thinking about buying me some PIAA 8000K Spark bulbs. They're kinda expensive and I want to know what people who have these or have seen these think about them. I know there was a discussion done about this a while back, but new bubls have popped on the market and I'm wondering what you all think? I used to have Nokya's and I wouldn't get another pair (3 pair in a row blew on me). I've messed with most of the major brands, but I've yet to try PIAA's. Anyhow, your comments are greatly appreciated.

nokya isn't that great of a brand...
hyper industries is pretty sorry as well.

if you're in the market for good lighting.

sylvania silverstars are affordable and VERY top notch quality.

same goes for the pep boys COOL BLUE series.

I personally Love PIAA's ... I used to make fun of my friends for droping $80 on a set when I could get bulbs for $35 ... well when I had replaced mine twice and they were still running the same pair ... I got the point

i had numerous friends that ran piaa's back in the day.
80-125 a pair depending on what kinda series u get.

dropped that much for just regular color tinted bulbs is OVER PRICED.

they all blew their bulbs with time.

stock bulbs will outlast piaa's anyday...

anyways. if u buy 2 pairs of piaa's because one set blows. u're almost all the way there to hid

yea.. im not trying to flame on piaa's its just that
silverstars and coolblue bulbs commonly found at pepboys are like 1/2 the price
of piaas and they even have a better performance value...

and another thing, i believe silverstars carry a 3 year warranty:

and as for what people who have compared them to...

http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/s...d/t-43331.html

people seem to like the light output on silver stars bette.r.
im just looking out for everyone since we all do drive a budget car.

I haven't heard of anyones harness burning up. It is a possibility though. If you're worried about it, go buy a heavy duty harness, if not, try it out and let us know.

I just got a set of the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and they are excellent. $20 per head light, same wattage as factory and they are atleast 20% brighter than stock. Also they are ghetto blue bulbs, they are White.

I also Picked up a set of the Silverstar orange blinker lights. They are brighter, but I bought them for the front because they look blue (the coating is blue) but they blink orange. At $20 for the set of turn signals they aren't cheap, but they do look cool.
