Default I'd REALLY appreciate some input...

So if any of you have been reading my post, I've been on the market for a CAI and exhuast, i'm concluded that from what I've read and heard from the grapevine that I can't go wrong with a K&N cold air intake, so K&N it is. So now I'm stuck still between choosing either the RS*R ExMag GT2, or the Blitz Nur-Spec exhausts. Although I know that HP increase from an exhaust is only substantial (I don't care really, as long as I can break 110, hell...112 would be good enough for me) which one will give the the most bang for my buck and sounds better? I dont want to be sounding like a lawnmower or a go-ped!

I'm actually using the BORLA axle back from Scion, but yoiu can get it anywhere.

It really sounds VERY nice. NOT lawnmower like at all. I just wanted a great classic 4 cylinder sports car sound to it, and that's what I got.

only way to get worthwhile power from exhaust is by doing a cat back. the axle backs give you 1hp and are hideously expensive.

yeah agreed, i have also heard axlebacks do nothing... if you want an axleback might as well go with a muffler tip.

I've heard good things about the Borla catback. I'm new to Scion and mulling over the decision as well.

get the injen short ram, its cheaper than the k&n and give more hp and sounds better, plus you dont run any risk of hydrolock. also get a catback like these guys are saying, just buy a magnaflow muffler and take it into a shop and have them fab you up some 2" piping. oh and get the megan header off ebay everyone loves it including myself and hotbox really praises it too. this setup should give you a little boost in performance good for maybe 10 hp at most
