Default mmmmm......mobile video rocks!

I had a hard time deciding whether to get coil-overs or a cd/dvd player.

I went this morning and picked up this:

I got a great deal on it! It's a Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD

I went and bought a new DVD at Target to celebrate and went to Sonic's for luch with a friend. We were eatting and watching "Diaries of an angry black woman" (GREAT MOViE!!!!) and some of the workers there on break wanted to jump in the car and watch too! Haha, it rocked!

Coilover's would have still been nice.......but you don't get starres and looks like these with coilovers!

System sounds 10x better now!

The lower face panel comes off and it has a blinking red LED (just to keep a theif on the uncertain page). As far as real theft deterant....no.

As hotbox05 asked.....i do live in a very good neighborhood with their own patroling PD (no rent-a-cops! Real cops with guns!) So i'm not too worried.

Besides, if someone wanted to steal it......they'd have a time doing it, haha...thanx to some custom work done by SpeakerWorks (local shop)

Also if by chance it was stolen, the poor bastards would only get away with the Head itself, w/o the face plate, and w/o the units brain which was ingeniously hidden away.

Lastly.....i have the serial numbers.........which in NC.....means alot.

Buy the door kit off the tc and mod it in there. Recess the unit some and make the door work to cover it. Or have the shop to do it. Any good shop would have reecommended this anyway. It'd come out in about 5 minutes at most that way.

i like the tC cover too. I have just read about how it is kind of funky to work sometimes.

and im sure it will be easy to mod the tC's cover for the xB and the xA, they have similar decks. maybe it will be in all the models at some point (i think that would be a very good idea for scion, another common feature for them to share)

somewhere a tC is donating her cover for a needy xB/xA.
