Alright I've had my tc since March and already I feal as though I need a new paint job. The front bumper has about 10 niks in it I have two ont the front fender and one on the back bumper( that was my fault). The back bumper was just a light tap and the paint got a nik in it I can see there might only be about 1 coat of paint. Does anyone else have this problem? And I'm afraid of it rusting already.

Yeah, my paint is pretty beat up in the front too. Don't we have a rust protection? I"m not sure if that covers rust forming from dings though. You can certainly argue they are due to the weak clear coat.

 

rust protection only protects from rust through penetration, at least thats what i read. dumb

 

That sounds about right. Better put some salt water on the wounds to make your claim

 

You're not gonna get any rust on the bumper, it's made out of plastic.

Yeah...same problem. Its pretty much the same for everybody, from previous threads. Paints chips out the wazoo.
