has anyone replaced the factory tube WOOFER or the woofer in the VSE? if so, was it a dual voice coil woofer? would it be possible to replace the sub from the tube and still use the tube's amp? i have a high power 8" and want to know if i could replace the sub and still use the amp or would i have to have a DVC 8"? any help would be great. looked using the advanced search. found the FAQ on install but not on woofer replacement. if i dont go this route, ive already got a ported box built to take over, but advice would be great first.
