Hey if you from SoCal there is a TURBOCHARED XB running in tomorrows event "BATTLE OF THE IMPORTS" Pomona.

I hear it's going to be pretty fast. About the Greddy I hear thier having problems with the E Manage. So they can't make any power.. but you never know it might just be a Greddy kit.

Well n e ways if any one shows up there please take pix of the turbo kit and post... I want to get one but I can't make it to the event tomorrow.

Thanks in advanced!

i wonder what the difference in management is for the turbo compared to the super. cause it seems people are having better reliability luck with the super than the turbo....

I dont seem to be having a problem with my turbo...... Its reliable and power delivery is exceptional.

Im real curious to see what everyones A/F ratio at time of failure on these motors was...are any of thse people running management systems, upgrading fuel delivery?? It seems like people are just slapping on a turbo and praying for the best...its obvious you cant do that to these motors. Would anyone like to jump in that blew a rod or caused failure due to f/i and give us their side of the story?

My kit has been on for about a month with daily driving. I drive about 40 miles each way to work with half being highway and half being back country roads which are still taken at highway speeds...shhhh dont tell the cops... I am running between 5-7psi. I am staying fairly conservative as it is daily driven and I want to keep the reliability. Once I get my second motor that is being built, we will push the boost up and see what the stock motor can take. The kit started life as the TSI kit. I basically only used the manifold, Garrett turbo and the intercooler. Everything else was done by me. I am running the Perrin fuel rail, Power Enterprise 130lp/h fuel pump, Power Enterprise CamCon, Aeromotive adj regulator, lots of stainless braided line and the Power Enterprise 410cc injectors if they ever show....

I dont mind the questions...Keep them coming... I love to help out
