Default AVIC D1 ipod problem

Hey guys I gotta say first this is one of the best owner's forum there is. Thanks to all of you the install of my new Nav went great. I got everything working great with one caviat. The CD-IB100 or pioneer's ipod adapter is working strange with my iPod. When I push SRC to get to my iPod the iPod shows up. I can navigate menus I just can't hear any music. The display sayd ipod 001
ipod002 ipod 003 and so on. No song title's no song name and no music. I have mined this and other forums seeking advice but have found no answers. Any help at all will earn you a $20.
Thanks.

Default Pioneer

Being that I help out at a stereo shop I can say that the Pioneer unit has been hit or miss. I have a good friend with one and he hates it. I have an Alpine and will be using theirs. From what I heard is that the Pioneer will have a tendancy to loss track of what its doing. I have had Pioneer in the past well far past. But I have never had any problems. Try running it by a stereo shop and see if you can get it replaced.

If i remember right the pioneer ipod box has two p-bus ports, and in and and out to allow daisy-chaining devices.

Make sure the p-bus cable is connected to the "out" otherwise you'll hear nothing.
