Default Help: Pioneer AVIC-N3 with iPod adapter

I have a Pioneer Avic-N3 with iPod adapter installed in my tC. I have a few questions for those out there that have the same system or know about this setup.

1. Sometimes my N3 will automatically go to the menu that says "Audio", "Function Radio/CD/whatever", and "Setup". When it does this, the system locks up for a little bit. It does this pretty randomly. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem and how I can fix it?

2. My N3 is connected to the iPod adapter, but when I plug in my iPod Touch or my iPod Photo, nothing happens. I've checked the wiring and everything seems to be connected correctly. Could it be my iPod's firmware, or maybe just another problem?

are you doing anything when it goes to those menu's?

sounds like the ipod adapter is not hooked up correctly. Check your connections. Sometimes the IP-BUS cable doesn't click in all the way.

Nope, the menu pops up randomly.

I checked the wiring on the iPod adapter already, everything looks fine. I even tried unplugging it and blowing in it and plugging it back in again.
