Has anyone tried to fit the new Q-45 headlites into the tC bezels yet? I saw this done on a Altezza and it looks sick! I want so bad!!

the Q45 gattling gun projector might look cool, but the cutoff line is not as sharp as any other projector because each of the 7 individual lens focuses the light at a slightly different spot making the overall cutoff line more fuzzy than other projectors. also, in the tc, the top part of the headlight is flat, it might not fit the Q45

aside from the fitment issue

the cost of the q45 is ridicilous

and the beam pattern is WEAK at best ...

its a COOL looking projector - thats it.. it doesnt light up the road that well and its WAY overpriced

well, the Altezza headlite cut off the top of the Q45 light too. Although the tC light would create a cutoff line. Who cares if the beam pattern is not as "good" other hid setups. Thats some bling ____e

if you want "holy crap that's sick", do it. if you want the best light output possible, choose another projector.

i just saw the Q45 setup on a GS 2 weeks ago. it was indeed sweet.

Uhmm. uhmmm. The cut off line is very sharp or you just saw a crappy pair. My mom's 03 q-45 has very sharp cut off line. I was wondering if anyone has done this yet. I want to do this. i'll post pics in a bit.

uhmm. cost isn't that ridiculous. Considering its a flagship model of a luxury car division. Isn't this to be expected? Oh, let me tell you, it lights up the road very well. And these are the brightest projectors out there. To my knowledge there are seven individual bulbs. <--I could be wrong about that, but from the reading i was doing, that is the impression that i got.

could be that i saw a crappy pair, but i do not think they are as sharp as a s2k or even tsx projectors. they might be sharper than bosch or hella projectors.

well here are some pics. The lights are way brighter in person. i didn't use the flash to get these pictures and my digi cam can't take pictures without the flash that well(excluding first pic). But here they are. I tried to do the q45 some justice but feel like i failed miserably. Like i said above they are way bright and have amazing cutoff. If anyone does this mod, please let me know how it went. I love these headlights.

the q45 is FAR from being the best projector .. there are at least a HANDFUL of projectors that BLOW IT AWAY

s2k, tsx, tl, evo, rx8

just to give you an idea of how crappy that projector is as far as light output

here is a comparison pic of a q45 with an s2k (s2k on bottom q45 on top) .. they were taken int he same lighting conditions

the s2k is not only SHARPER ... but it blows the q45 away in color and in terms of output
