a CF hood is a very major item that you dont wanna be cheap on. If you do, than your better off not getting on.
the only CF hood i recommend is the CF hood from VIS Racing. I dont have this hood yet, but Im sure I will be purchasing it within the next month or so. VIS makes top quality CF parts, and their hoods are one of the best in the market in my eyes. They recommend hood pins (as every aftermarket place will), but I have never had to install hood pins on a VIS hood, because their latch is very good. But to feel safe... you could install them (and i probably will when i get mine... cause i like to be over safe).
