Default Has Aftermarket parts companies given up on the 14-15 Scion tC?

Im new to the Scion community and I love my 2015 tC but I have noticed a few things.

First off the forum situation, I have noticed that the 2G forums are not very active. Has the Scion become an unpopular car? I don't see why it would be as its a great car.
Good base HP for a 4 cylinder engine. Nice interior and exterior. I just don't see why the forums on cars that are still fairly popular are so quiet.

All that aside the point of my inquiry. I have been looking for parts and more often than not I look up parts for the 2014 because the 2015 is not listed in a lot of cases but besides the paddle shifters I don't see much of a difference.
I looked for the Rocket Bunny Body kit, just to price it out and see if I even wanted to strive to get it and couldn't find any more than a computer generated image of what one would look like yet I see they have a variety of options for the FR-S.
Today I looked up a hood damper kit (a lot of the times you can fashion one but I wanted to see if one was available for the car) and came up empty handed.

We don't have front lip kits yet, aftermarket halo headlights ( just the rings are available) or a lot of other mods that cars like the FR-S have and I'm not angry about this at all, just curious as to why
and am hoping that I can be enlightened by a more veteran member of the Scion community.

Thank you so much for your time

Facebook groups killed a lot of forums. Chatter has moved over there.

With the exception of the front bumper and tail lights and back bumper and tail lights (and hatch?) everything from the 11-13 tCs fit, so buy that. 11-13 and 14-15 share all parts besides the ones listed above.

As for the lip kit, Rocket Bunny dropped out, they are expensive kits and they didnt think enough tC owners would buy them.

I have seen a few people with custom jobs but nothing aftermarket factory made.

I was really pulling for Rocket Bunny to make their kit. I really wanted the lip, and low mount spoiler trunk spoiler.

I was interested in the other bits ... basically the front and rear fenders and the front lip

At this point I would be happy with any carbon fiber after market lip for the 14-15 but no love there. It seems like everything needs to be special order or custom made.

For what its worth, the 2G all the way back to 2011 hasn't gotten much love. The FRS stole all the thunder.

That is disheartening since I just purchased my car 430 miles ago (she has 435 on her clock now). I hope I can still style my car the way I want.
I think since the Rocket Bunny is out I really want to focus on the front lip diffuser. I saw a 14 or 15 on this forum with it but they said it was a custom job =/

The same thing happened to the Honda Prelude community when the S2000 came out.

I just got the impression that with the tC being a popular car as it is and Fredrick Aasbo driving a 2014 tC and getting number 2 in 2014
that it would spark enough interest with the aftermarket companies to make some nice products for us.

Yeah you would think so. If I would of looked more into the aftermarket before buying my 2014 I would of never bought it. I love the car but knowing how many mods were available for the first gen was what sold me on it.

I also think that there are so many used first generations out there and the Scion family is marketed for the younger (smaller income) buyers.

Great cars but it may take some time for the second gen tC to get aftermarket support, especially with the FR-S out there.

So will a 2.4 throttle body spacer fit the 2.5?
