hi, in the past two days ive noticed a slight vibration in the gas pedal when im accelerating, especially in 3rd gear. it also happens often in other gears when i slow down to the gear's minimum speed and accelerate. like if im in 5th and i slow down to around 45-50 mph and accelerate again i feel the pedal have a little vibration like the engine's timing is off or something. should i get that checked or is it normal once ur car is broken in. im about to hit 1000 miles so i was thinking maybe its supposed to be like that when its broken in.

thats you being retarded, its normal but dum unless you wanna make your car growl (need intake) its just that your going to slow to be in that gear shift down once or TWICE

i said minimum speed for that gear, sensay ur a queerwhig. slowing down to 45 being in 5th gear should not be lugging the engine. 45 mph is when ur supposed to shift to 5th and i keep the rpms a little over 2k.

anyways i figured out that it actually vibrates the most in 5th gear. almost always when im in 5th and i accelerate, i feel a little pulsating in the gas pedal and i feel the shift knob twitch back very little. u cant see it move but you can feel it jolt back slightly and the knob also vibrates a little bit. it is not visible unless you really focus on it, but it is pretty easy to feel. 5th gear is the only gear when the knob vibrates like that and sorta twitches when i accelerate. is that serious enough to get checked out?

Im not sure if im understanding your problem totally, but maybe accelerate more in the gear that you are in before shifting, or if you have to slow down in a certain gear to a lower speed then the speed that you shifted the gear into, you should downshift. I THINK.

no i am not lugging the engine, im not going slow enough for that and lugging the engine is more like shaking rather that actual vibrating. im talking about the pedal oscillating and the knob twitching, not the whole car shaking.

I feel very very slight vibration in 5th gear only at 45 mph. Thats it. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are all smooth. When in 5th at 50 mph, no vibration.
