I have like 2 where they got curbed. And the other a wheellock cracked and removing the remainder of the lock damaged the rim a little. I mean it really minor damage but it bothers me. I figured id buy four new wheels/tires and go put the warranty on them... but iam not sure if they will let me... do you know how long its for?
If you are really considering getting the warranty... to give you a heads up, THEY DONT COVER CURB DAMAGE.
I smacked mine against a curb (avoiding a major accident that wasnt my fault) and they rejected my claim. So I called the woman who is handling my claim, explained my situation a little better. She tells me she will have to get back to me on Monday. I dont understand how this warranty can cover a pot hole or road debris and not cover something like say... saving your car.
If you really want it read exactly what it covers first.

i have it, i bought it for $199 and financed it along with my car. not sure if you can still get it or not, but it doesn't hurt to try.
the wheel and tire protection will last for 5 years( for me at least). it will cover any wheel and tire combo that is mounted on the car up to the amount of $2500( even aftermarket wheels and tires). racing slicks will not be covered in the warranty. to meet the requirement for the protection, the tire must have a minimum of 3/32'' tread depth( i think that was the correct depth) and maintain proper tire pressure. if the dealership can't fix the problem, they will replace it with an identical item. there are quite a few restrictions for the warranty. this is all i can remember from the top of my head.
the wheel and tire protection doesn't cover curb damage, but if the damage is great enough, like a dent on the lip, to a point where the tire can't maintain tire pressure. they will try to fix it first, when they can't fix it. they will replace it.
im not sure about the wheel lock though. hopefully it will be covered.

I know at my dealership they offer more years for more money. Check with the dealership. I think you will be able to sign up for the warranty even 5 mths after. At least at my dealer. My dad told me it was a waste though and to not even worry bout it.
i want to get this warranty too! can somebody tell me and the original poster if we can still get it after we bought our car already? i only hd my car for 3 months now. mayb i should slash my pirelli's to get new ones eh? lol never buy new tires for the next 5 years
Hey.................with this? if I paint my stock rims a different color like I'm seeing in some other threads.............. does it void this warranty? I'm going to pull it out and read it, but from what people are saying here its pointless. B
But the dealership told me, that driving in michigan its a good thing.
But I great a ******* potholes and I'm not driving around the hood all day so the freeways are alright and major road.... I think I wasted a mod on this, I don't even remeber what I paid for it, I think it was like 400 dollars or something

Really they paid for um.............how did you get them bent? I heard it has to be a road hazzard. If its something else its not covered,........... Like stabings or ...............country driving.
I could be wrong. but how'd it work, and how long... any hassle? Were you re-imbursed or was it covered by a phone call?

I hit a curb that was in the middle of the road at 25 mph. I took it to the dealership and they handled the whole transaction with the road hazzard people. I didn't even tell them what happened really. The repair shop said that an adjuster would come out the look at it the next day and then they called me and said is was approved. I just had to pay for the cv boot, and alignment, which I will try to reclaim from the city. I guess the road hazzard cuts the repair shop a check. I'm sure that if it was just 1 rim or a tire they wouldn't even have to send somebody to look at the damage.
