rear hotchkiss sway bars installed.
i just got the rear installed today. front will be next time because the guy said it would take a long time. the stiffness on the rear is set to the middle. i still have a little body roll and can feel little improvement.
when i get the front installed will i feel no body roll at all?

Yeah I just installed the Hotchkiss sways, front and back. ist sooo sweet...I put them on when I did my coilovers...the combo is great! I love the feel ...I have the rear set on med and the front set to tight...I think I want the rear on thight...and thats not hard to do... BUT THE FRONT BAR!!!! thats another story... We had to take off the whole freaken Sub frame!!! it was the worst ever! I hope to never do again! we almost installed the Coilovers faster than it took to install it....i was soo ____ed..but in the end it was worth every moment! the ride is sooooo hwat!!! this combo turned 35-40 mph curves into 60 mph curvs... all I need now is some better tires to improve the grip.... the stock tires suck
I hope you didn't remove the subframe! If you just loosen the two 19mm nuts on the front of the subframe so they are holding by three or four turns, the subrame drops low enough to do the whole job. Also, it's BAD idea to loosen the steering rack bolts as the instructions advise since you have to snake a wrench in the top to retighten them. Even my IR2130 impact would not tighten them without a wrench on the other side. All you need to do is loosen the two front nuts first, set them to the drop you want, then remove the three nuts and one bolt for the rear engine/transmission mount, the two bolts on the front of the cradle and the three other bolts on the rear of the cradle. Then (after the prep work) remove the eight 19mm head bolts from the rear of the subframe. The subframe will drop as you remove the two biggest bolts. Then use a breaker bar and gently pry the rear of the subframe down (it will move easily) and stuff a large (21 - 24mm) socket between the subframe and the chassis where one of the big bolts came out. When you do this, the subframe is pretty solid so you can use your wrenches to remove the swaybar mounts without a lot of monkey motion from the subframe.
I've done this a few times now. It works.
I've also installed 4 Fidanza flywheels in tCs, so I can describe the pitfalls of that procedure pretty well too.

for those who got the hotchkis sway bars installed, what is your stiffness setting on your rear sway bar?
i got mine on medium, maybe that would be another reason why i still feel little body roll?

Without upgrading your springs, youre still going to feel a good bit of body roll. Sway bars help to keep the car flat, but springs are doing most of the work. Suspension is a package deal where all of the parts work together to improve performance. You would likely see more of a difference with new springs and stock sways then your setup. Kind of like how adding an exhaust makes a little HP, but when its coupled with intake and exhaust, the numbers are much better.
yeah I'm sitten` on Basics with the Hottchkiss Front and rear, I have the rear on med. and the front on tight... I still feel just the littlest roll, but I think that will change when I put on the tighter setting...
well, that is to say...this is on stock tires... when I get some better grip with those I will be in business
