Does anyone know how much the driver or passenger door windows cost? Also, are they easy to take out and replace? I'm thinking about getting an extra set of windows so I can drive with window tints without paranoia.

 

Driver's side door window costs about $190 from a dealer. It'll take 1-2 weeks to get one also as no third parties make replacements yet.

Installation and removal isnt too difficult at all. Just roll window most of the way down, remove door panel and gasket on inside of door, then remove bolts. After that it's easiest to lift up on the rear of the glass and pull out that way. Installing is just the reverse, just make sure it slides up and down ok in the gasket before bolting in place.

 

does CA not allow tinting at all or something???? why don't you just get the legal limit. and besides what are you gonna do w/ an extra set of windows that would avoid trouble w/ the law regarding tinting??
