Default xB below invoice?

Well, we can dream, so here's a tidbit:

This website:

http://www.carsbelowinvoice.com/

Is using an xB in their banner ads. The implication, of course is that they can help you get an xB below invoice.

Anyone care to give them a try to see how much smoke they are blowing?

Good freakin luck. Not with months long waits as is currently the case in many parts of the country.

Not fraudulent, just misleading. I'm sure that there is a mile of disclaimers you have to wade through that pretty much absolves them of any responsibility.

I've found that all of those "buy cars over the Internet" outfits are pretty much just referral agencies for the car dealers. All you get is an email from the "internet sales manager" (whichever salesman has that duty that day) asking for your phone number. They really don't want to deal via email, since salesmen seem to have an innate fear of actually putting anything in writing.

Same here in Orlando Florida. Local Toyota dealer gets on the TV at night and offers a XB at 12800 (at midnight). I've went down three times the next morning at the opening of the dealership and the advertized vehicle has already been sold.

What wrong with the local law enforcement when this is allowed to go on and not just here in Orlando.?

^ Yeah I hate when dealerships use that as an attention getter to get buyers or even customers to the dealership. They always use the excuse " It's been sold " but you can easily or often argue your way into a deal. I had it happen to me when I purchased my 2002 Celica back in 02, they had a Celica GT go for 16K when markup was 20K, me and my father argued our way, even talked to the head salesman and they let up.

It'll be hard to do that with a Scion though considering the fact that their price is non-negotiable since it's at a fixed value already.

Well, the ad has to be made well in advance, so the dealer has a perfect excuse for the car being "already sold" Just about every "1-only" deal has already been sold, probably to somebody's brother.

Just don't fall for it. If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

For a modest 'finders fee' of 2 grand, I guarentee I will find the xB you want for at least one thousand dollars below invoice!!

this is a limit time offer - open to only the first 10 people who send in the finders fee in cash.
