In my decsion making process for the xA I want I have seen some with cf hoods. I like the black hood look with a polar white or silver mica car or even a black car with a polar white hood. If I asked do you think I could get this done by the dealer instead of doing it myself somehow? I was thinking they could just swap me a hood :D. I am heading to a dealer this weekend to ask some other q's just wondered if anyone else has tried.

if you weren't in Atlanta I'd say let's just swap it ourselves (if you were up for a Phantom Grey hood!?) actually, our car is kind of tiny, I wonder how much it would be to ship the hood...

You could even get a CF hood and have it painted a color. RampagedSD has all his carbon fiber parts painted with a transparent candy maroon to match the body color. Looks friggin awesome.

Yeah, that Nish Designs guy painted his cf splitters some transparent orange color that totally matched his hot lava ... it was freakin dope!!!

You know I had that same idea. Tryign to find someone who would just want to swap hoods. :lol: Phanton gray might looks good with polar white or silver mica.

I don't think so. I think it would look cool as logn sa it wasn't dinged or messed up. :D I think it would look no dif than a carbon fiber hood. :lol:

LOL :lol: I'm in the process of trying to get a carbon fiber hood imported (yes I'm picky) but maybe it would be more feasible once I have the stock piece replaced..
