I'm just wondering, does anyone hear a loud noise (sounds like a fan) coming from under the hood when the engine is off (no a/c no fan) but the key is on "on"
the fan kicks in when it needs to cool down the engine, the reason you notice it, is at idle or just in the on position its because there isnt much background noise (though our fan is one loud motha...)
i had a noise heard from inside the car last week, turned engine off, key out and sounded like a vacuum leak or an air leak or could of been my speakers, but so far only heard it once *shrugs*

Its your emission componets. If you read your owners manual it states in there you may hear noise up to a few hours after the car is turned off. I think it said that is something having to do with your fuel system to make sure everything is venting properly ie purge control valve. Read your manual its in there.
