A big thanks goes out to ScionVan (Van) for hooking up the wheels and Scionspecialistvegas (Bill) for hooking up the Goldlines. The tires are per the Fitment FAQ (use it, it works) 205/40-17, and I didn't get some super gripy tires. I need treadlife, so don't ask me about handling with my mega-commute! :D

The Goldlines ride very well and I highly recommend them. The S08's have a beautiful HyperBlack finish that is darker than traditional silver, but not even close to Gunmetal. Hope you enjoy the pics, I know I do!

Nice! How is the ride? A lot different from stock?

I would say the ride is better in stock that bumps aren't as jarring. Uneven payment, you tend to roll with but the car isn't jumping around as much. As for the lean & stuff, it doesn't exhibit it as much, but I would still install anti-roll bars to help that out.

If anything, I like the ride much more than stock as I find it easier & more comfortable over my long commute. That was my main concern is how harsh it would be over the crappy SF Bay Area freeways. It has been very comfortable so far, so I'd recommend them highly!

Good to hear you like the ride better. I keep debating over 16s or 17s because of the ride quality. I think I'll be going 17s. At least I'm pretty sure I am.

I think the 17s are a good comprimise between looks & comfort. I wanted to go 18's, but I know I would bang the hell out of them. Everything is your call, but I endorse 17's for higher mileage applications.
