LAS VEGAS — Scion's SEMA showstoppers include a Scion Widebody tC by Extreme Dimensions/Scion racing driver Christian Rado, outfitted with a "secret agent setup" that includes a smoke screen, oil slick, night vision, and a flame thrower.
Scion said in a statement that it has doubled its booth size from last year to accommodate the debut of various project vehicles, including the Scion xA Speedster by Huntington Beach, California-based Five Axis. The Speedster includes three interlinked Xbox gaming centers with Forza Motorsport racing software.
An xB by tuner Fred Chang was transformed into a "Japanese wagon culture" vehicle with a KK-TopLine body kit, HKS Hi-Power exhaust and a custom eight-point roll cage with harness bar. The Scion xA by Motegi Racing and Turn 3 Creative is designed to "reach out to the brothers and sisters of the skateboarding world." With the help of project sponsors Sony, ALSA Corporation and Carbon Creations, Motegi installed a custom skateboard rack to hold two carbon-fiber skateboards from Revolution and a skateboard ramp with built-in subwoofers.
What this means to you: Scion demonstrates a serious commitment to tuners — and skateboarders. If it can keep its credibility with this market, then it'll be successful for years to come.
I wish I were going to SEMA this year. If anyone has the chance you NEED TO GO, SEMA in Vegas is amazing.
If anyone sees my favorite model there, tell her what's up! lol

I've seen the Scion mentioned amongst several others.
Some are not so hot, one is.
There are some cool things headed our way.
Sorry I have no photos.
I may request that my photographer snap a few pics if the interest is high.

What do you do?
If I assume you work at a parts dealership, it makes perfect sense why your boss went.
It's not a car show.... It's a business convention.

I can't go this year cause I'm getting married on the 11th in Ann Arbor, MI. So there goes all my vacation time. Well, that, and the honeymoon.
But I'm with you guys - SEMA + Vegas = OFF THE CHAIN.

I believe this is it. Look at the size of that lip on the rear wheel! I like the front end of the car, but not the rear bumper and rear flare...but that rear wheel is  I also like the widebodied part at the taillights.
I love the front end! I don't like the back bumper, ugh.

Drew, it been a minute, since I seen you online, you need to see the car in person, Dhris, gave me and my installer a personal tour, everything is motorized, on the interior, he used the steering whell controls to raise and lower the hatch, it has foward looking inferred radar(FLIR), motorized glove box, motorized consol lid, full wide ban scanner and jammer. Eric from twin turbo's was abolsolutely the best also. The car was done in three days. 19 x10 in the front with 265\30\19. in the rear 305/35/19 on 19 x 12's in the rear. This car is off the chain.
I want to thank Chris Rado and Eric from Twin Turbo's for taking the time to make Scion Specialties feel like VIPS, they gave VIP passes for the Scion party at the Hardrock, and we are going Extreme Demension after party in a couple of hours.
