SEMA: Flame-Throwing, 500-hp Scion tC Blasts Into Sin City
Date Posted 10-31-2005
LAS VEGAS — Scion's SEMA showstoppers include a Scion Widebody tC by Extreme Dimensions/Scion racing driver Christian Rado, outfitted with a "secret agent setup" that includes a smoke screen, oil slick, night vision, and a flame thrower.
Scion said in a statement that it has doubled its booth size from last year to accommodate the debut of various project vehicles, including the Scion xA Speedster by Huntington Beach, California-based Five Axis. The Speedster includes three interlinked Xbox gaming centers with Forza Motorsport racing software.
An xB by tuner Fred Chang was transformed into a "Japanese wagon culture" vehicle with a KK-TopLine body kit, HKS Hi-Power exhaust and a custom eight-point roll cage with harness bar. The Scion xA by Motegi Racing and Turn 3 Creative is designed to "reach out to the brothers and sisters of the skateboarding world." With the help of project sponsors Sony, ALSA Corporation and Carbon Creations, Motegi installed a custom skateboard rack to hold two carbon-fiber skateboards from Revolution and a skateboard ramp with built-in subwoofers.
What this means to you: Scion demonstrates a serious commitment to tuners — and skateboarders. If it can keep its credibility with this market, then it'll be successful for years to come.

I've seen the Scion mentioned amongst several others.
Some are not so hot, one is.
There are some cool things headed our way.
Sorry I have no photos.
I may request that my photographer snap a few pics if the interest is high.

I can't go this year cause I'm getting married on the 11th in Ann Arbor, MI. So there goes all my vacation time. Well, that, and the honeymoon.
But I'm with you guys - SEMA + Vegas = OFF THE CHAIN.
