Default Buy xb or just work on the accord?

I been dreaming of owning a xb since they came out. Now im 18, have a good job, and already on a 92 2dr accord 5spd. I was thinking of keeping the accord as a second needed transportation and just going an getting me a xb(wanted a tc, but i know the insurance will be high ) I know with the 1.5l engine that performance is not going to be good with the xb, but i want it cause it's different and i would really enjoy driving it! Just wanted to introduced myself and to see if the friendly people on scionlife can help me out. Peace

well you really can't compare the xB to the accord. Personally I love my xB. It gets lots of attention and peopla used to ask a lot about it until people got familiar with it. I got rid of my previous car 2000 Ford Mustang GT Convertable. I loved my mustang but the gas and the insurance. The xB is like in the cheapest class for insurance and gets tons of miles to the gallon. Being an xB owner myself of course I am going to tell you to get the xB so...DO IT! haha JK but I think the xB is great.

I had a 91 accord, 2 door, 5 spd. And this spring i had a child so i got rid of the 2 door and got me the xb. Best move that i ever did, the xb is fun to drive and has lots of room.

the only reason i got rid of the accord was it was a 2 door. It had 240,000 miles on it and i never had any problems with it, stil had the original clutch, alternator, starter, the only thing i had to change was the tires and battery.

Thanks guys for the help. I'll go test drive one in a 5spd(already test drove the auto) and see what happens! I been looking on this site at pics of yours cars and i have really been amazed to see what an xb looks like after a few exterior changes!
