Default california XB's

OK, I am looking at buying an XB in Az, but it was brought over from Cali (in 2004), are there any differences with the Cali vehicles due to smog regs (meaning possibly less power)?

I think these days pretty much all cars are manufactured to Ca's smog controls. I could be wrong but I don't believe there is any diference at all.

I know that certain options may or may not be available in certain regions...To make my point, go to Scion.com and put in different zipcodes, and you will be able to see options that are or are not available in different regions.

What is the used price? IMO, I prefer a brand new one. Used xB's are selling close to the same price as a brand spanking new one. The 2004 model xB's (all states) had several TSBs (not to be confused with recalls) especially one that was sold in late 2003 as a 2004 model. Ranging from ~3A/C TSBs, rattling, etc. Mid to late 2005 and 2006 xB's should have little issues compared to the 2004's. There is no difference in horsepower from 2004-2005 vs 2006. 2004, 05 models were tested using the old SAE standard while the 2006 used the newer SAE standard. BTW, 2006 xB's come with a volume **** while the other ones are push buttons. 2004 xB's do NOT have a front passenger vanity mirror on the sun visor. Not sure if that matters or not. Kinda makes my 2004 more unique than 2005+

$13,200 doesn't sound like much of a deal with 28K on the clock.
New I paid $15,400 out the door including the TRD suspension pkg (struts/springs installed).
You might think about looking around more.
In this area if one dealer doesn't have your color, another will.

not true here in Phoenix AZ, you cant find a single new one in stock here in AZ, there is a wait list at EVERY single dealer. For example I want either white or grey, and Ultimate Electroncs has on order for the next 6 whites to what ever dealer get them in first... All the local Xb's in the Autotrader are more than the new prices (one is even $19500 with hardly any mods!). I just did a search in Autotrader, and there are only 3 XB within 300 miles of me in the price range of $11,000 to $14,000 (my price range). Anyways this is the ONLY XB for less than $14k within 300 miles that has what I am looking for. If i go much further then I would need to buy a plane ticket to fly out to see it, then either drive it back (dont have the time) or ship it back, which means I am paying for round trip airfare and then shipping costs of the vehicle and those will jack the final price I am paying.... So for $13200 I am thinking I am pretty good. I forgot to mention that it already has 18" tenzo rims which look awesome
