Now this is just my preference.

Window tint falls in the same category as tires, brakes, and carbon fibre.

I'm not going to go w/ some place that is charging me the cheapest price for tint. Why? Prolly because its a lower grade, it will bubble, fade, or discolor, and I will have to have it replaced in a year or two.

I would rather pay more, and have the tint last, and not bubble or discolor, than to have to pay twice just to be happy. Also, when it gets replaced, you'll prolly have to pay to get the tint removed.

I had an 88 Honda Civic that I used to commute and sold it w/ 288k miles on it. The tint on it lasted me over 5 years and was still as good as new when I sold the car.

^^^ You have a very good point there sir, so what would be an ideal price for a great tint job?

average quote you probably will get for an all around is 200 bucks I would say. Make sure you get the lifetime warantee on the workmanship and tint.

Mr. Tint but he's in San Jose, he does a great job and relatively cheap for a lifetime warranty.
