AEM's New Intake
I'm pretty pleased on how the intake came out. Check it out.
1. Check breather hose location on the intake system, no MAF contamination.
2. VSV has a sturdy mount.
3. No rubbing or contact.
For all you Injen lovers all I have to say is this...why??? Here's the love they show the Mazda owners You gotta see this

Some people look at the intake pipe length. This intake is not as long as the prior version, its shorter.
I'm not sure what it will be called but its taking cool air from behind the foglight area.

thats a pretty neat idea...does injen have something like that too?(the metal plate...its shiney LOL)
Just my 2 cents,

I'd like to see dyno results (same day..comparable times...unlike K&N's 3 days and 19 hour difference)... Is it part of their "V2" line of intakes? Does it fit on the xA (____, does the K&N fit on the xA? the injen doesn't...) We need pics of the whole thing...not installed =P Hook it up SoCalbBox!
This design is similar to the K&N and Injen. Why AEM waited so long to release this intake prolly has something to do with the intake they have with Toyota, who knows.
So if the K&N, AEM and Injen intakes are so similar which one do you choose?
Pro's of the AEM:
1. Breather hose location
2. Ease of installation
3. Bracket location near the filter end to eliminate the filter moving around and hitting the foglights
4. All the parts fit correctly without any rubbing.
I don't use the other two intakes, so decide for yourself.

It is not part of the V2 line. This is an xB app only. The other AEM intake fits the xA.
More pics coming...
looks like they took the filter placement of the Injen/K&N, and the mounting/breather hose ideas from the SPFR intake, and rolled them into one :?
the big question will be, does this one make any more power than the previous AEM intake?
maybe someone should do a new intake shootout
...or maybe not...heheheheheh!
