I did the search, but cant find my question.

would there be a need for camber plates if your on trd springs, or is that only for a 2 inch drop? would the tires wear out faster without them? I dont know shiit about camber plates, so plz be nice. :D

 

No need for camber correction with TRD springs. Plates really arent available for the tC...the pillowball mounts on the TEIN ssp coilovers allows for some front camber adjustment, and there are the Hotchkis rear camber links for the rear.

 

someone should make them available for those who dont have $$ to spend on the Tein setup

 

I was looking up more info on camber on google, and came upon this on a nissan forum. Its copy pasted.

** Note 1 - You must get a proper 4 wheel alignment after doing any suspension ride height changes.
** Note 2 - Negative Camber will increase when you lower the 240SX. We cannot determine if you will absolutely need camber correction front and rear as each individual customer prefers different alignment settings based on their driving preferences (ie: more negative camber front and rear will greatly increase the 240SX's handling characteristics, but will wear inner tires more. Less camber will increase tire lifespan, and good for drag racing, but will diminish cornering capacity of a vehicle.)
We do recommend purchasing camber correction products listed below if you wish to re-align your 240SX back to factory specs.

*so i guess even if you have more than a 2 inch drop without plates, the worst that can happen is your tire lifespan would decrease.

*why is it that the trd drop would not do the same as a 2 inch drop?
