I was looking at the street glow site and came across these wheel well LED kits and was wondering if anyone here has done this yet or has thought about doing it...

Well what I'd reccomend is 4" cathodes. You're going to get more light for less money. You can put them behind the wheel, above the wheel, behind the suspension, etc. Just seal them up with silicone to make them waterproof, and maybe put them inside of another tube to protect them even more.
@ $6.49 for 2 tubes, you could get a hell of a set up for $50

I like the idea of LEDs on the inside of the wheel well following the curve.
I have some LED strips that are flexible that I got off ebay for next to nothing, silly bright (maybe 4x brighter than my footwell cathodes.
I could slide them in a clear rubber pipe and seal the ends and bend to fit the shape.
except I need these for my underhood install. But maybe I'll order some more. Someone needs to bring out underbody LED's made using bendable rubber housings in a long rope type setup. That way you could have seamless light easily mounted under the car with some zip ties.

Those may not be hard plastic - they may be clear rubber tubing. That's how it curves. That would be a lot less prone to breakage. I wouldn't get it unless it could tie into my current LED kit though. Having the wheel wells 1 solid color while my others are changing is... rice

these are all flexible tubes, they are the 7 color LED color changing ones like the other street glow LED kit... Its only like 200 bucks plus shipping and can be connected with the 7 color under body kits... this would just look nuts if someone did it all IMO
