Default XM radio help

Well I just got the roady 2 and installed it and love the setup, I hate the quality of the FM mod. I want to make it sound like a CD, what is the cheapest (i know i know) way to do it and still use the roady. can I get a receiver or what not to make it sound better. thanks much

Stock stereo or aftermarket?

There are a few adapters for the stock HU out there....I think.

If aftermarket it either needs to be Sat ready or have an AUX input.

You can use the XM terk adpater for your particular headunit, if aftermarket. It will function just like an auxillary input. That way you get XM from the Roady and can control it with the Roady.... does that make sense?

yeah it does, my radio is stock and the XB is an 06 so it has a aux plug but not the same as I need. It is a SAT ready radio. Hoping for a cheap fix to better sound

The Aux plug on the stereo doesn't take a standard input?
You should be able to run from the lineout on the roady to the aux in port.... I haven't seen the new xB with the aux in, so I don't know.

Go out and get the USA Spec DF-toy aux adapter ( i got mine from crutchfield) Plugs into the back of the stock unit then buy yourself a headphone to RCA adapter at radio shack. cost you a total of 70 bucks shipped. and you get 2 aux inputs. One goes to my roady and the other to my ipod.
