Scion Security Wire Diagram?
I was wondering if anybody has the wiring diagram for the scion secuirty system on the 2006 model? or the 2005? i kno its a waste of money but i ended up with it and don't have time to install a two way so i would rather just hook up a dual stage shock sensor along with it... i would assume that the glass break sensor is similiar to a trigger that a shock sensor would do.. so i'm hoping i can just hook up a shock sensor and at least have the stock alarm have the ability to detect vibration.

Here is the problem...it just shows how to install the system...it gives no wire detail what so ever. I'm trying to find the actual alarm side description of each wire as well.
As of yet, no information what so ever on the actual descriptions of each wire, but if anyone has that....I would forever be in debt.
Oh yeah...this thread will probably be moved to electrical by the mod gods
well if i have time today i'll test the wires coming out of the brain and i guess get my alarm honking plenty of times lol... and ohh my bad i guess i should of put this in the proper forum...

Maybe there is something useful for you there.

shouldn't be that hard to find the parking lights wire.. i would just check each wire coming out of the brain and see which one is getting a voltage when u arm or disarm the car. I'll let u kno what i find out.
and i thought that the alarm diagram shows already what the light flash is?

ok i just checked and the brown wire on the head lgiht switch is a negative pulse and the top of the fuse box is positive.

but i have a feeling u already read this.

yeah, thats the thing, when i check the brown wire, pin 29 in a 30 pin harness, i should get 12v+ when switched on. i dont get positive...i don't get negative...i don't get any signal at all on that wire.
SHOCK SENSOR FOR STOCK ALARM SOLVED!!
well i figured out how to setup a shock sensor on the stock alarm..
on the glass break sensor where the blinking light is displaying the scion security status next to the mirror adjustment.. there are wires behind it. Just pop out the switches etc... and look behind it.. there will be 4 wires..
black and red are used for the blinking led
and the white wire and white/black wire is used for setting off the alarm when the glass is broken..
if u use a shock sensor that will trigger a signal when activated, have it trigger a relay that connects the white wire and white/black wire together.. and that will trigger the alarm.. i will make a simple right up this week when i get a chance to do it.. i don't kno if a dual shock sensor will trigger the warn away but at least this will make the stock alarm a bit better.
