I've only ever seen the RAZO replacement shift ****. Whatever it is it has to have the overdrive button on it. What else have you seen out there? Share...

I've installed the OBX Tomcat w/overdrive button. It works okay, not the greatest since the overdrive button is tricky. When the overdrive button is on it's fine, but when it's off, if you tap it a little it will show it's back on, and if you tap it again it will show it's off, but if you just push the button all the way in to turn overdrive on it's fine. Maybe it's like that cuz I got it off of ebay. Other than that, I have no major problems with it.

Jester, would you say its a pretty easy install? IO saw one where they want you to cut the overdrive wire during the install.

I'm at work right now, no pics. As far as the install, it's pretty easy. Took the stock one off and cut the 2 wires for the overdrive. Put the OBX one on and crimped the wires together and shoved the excess wire in the shaft. Screwed the **** on and done. The 2 wires aren't complicated. It doesn't matter what wires you crimp together because all the switch does is open or close the circuit.

The OBX one looks like the RAZO one I have, but still waiting for some time to install it.
Chesire Cat has one in his xA. Good find Jester! Does the OBX sit higher than the stock shifter?

It looks like OBX has a couple:

and http://www.obxracingsports.com/inter...2&subCat2ID=22

Here is the RAZO one:

In the RA91 instructions (and I have also been told by others) you have to take out the center console to get to the wiring for the auto shifter and cut the wires, something like that... I got my RAZO off of eBay for $79.00

I like the Toyota Tacoma's auto shifter, not like our T-shifter just a straight shifter...I wonder if that would fit?

I cant imagine you'd need to take anything other than the cowl cover underneath the dash off. :?

That's what I was told and also what the instructions say. I hope it's not too big of a deal...

Someone was looking into a Hurst shifter a while ago or at least wanted one too but, it looked alot meaner than that one...

It seems like it sits the same to me. Not too high and not too low. I didn't have to remove the center console at all. You may need to if you want to cut the wire deeper in the console. Other than that, all I did was cut it at the shaft and crimped it there and shoved the excess back in the shaft and put the **** on.
