Default Bltiz Supercharger owners question for you

Ok...recently I just installed one of these badboys in the other day. took me a total of 4 hrs installed. Was not that hard, except dealing with the AC lines going to the condensor....bent the condensor since my line has nowere to go.

Anyways, I was wondering, does the Supercharge sound like a hand dryer everytime it goes into boost? Like an on off switch that is activated only when the throttle is at a particular point? Just wondering as I like to hear from people that have the same kit.

Also power isn't alot, and not like my old car (WRX with 300rwhp), but enough to get the wheels spinning in 1st, and 2nd gear (was doing it in the rain).

Anybody ever consider putting the S/C on the on position all the time?

so the whirling/whining sound is only when the gas is pressed 80% down to hear correct? Because that's the only time I hear it. Other then that it sounds stock.

I think if it's on 100%, it'll only kick in if the pedal is pressed "100%" (WOT). Try 50%...it should kick in half way.

I wouldnt really suggest trying to make the charger "on" all the time, I think getting an overdrive crank pulley to raise boost would be a great idea though. Try NST, www.NonStopTuning.com

They have been doing a lot for the tC lately and rumor has it there are some things in the works for the supercharged xBs as well

Speaking of Blitz superchargers, I want to get one for my xA and I was curious at what it sounds like as well. Anyone have a link to a video of the sorts?

Sound isn't the big issue, what it outs out for power is. The sound thing is just an added bonus. :D

To all the supercharged xb and xa owners!!!
I would be very carefull when it comes to setting the supercharger to come on at 50% throttle or MID because the car runs really really lean... I have a wideband on mine and on cruising and then stomping on the gas the car goes pass 16:1 a/f ratio on my AEM wideband... And I'm running 230cc injectors instead of the 200cc injectors that comes stock with the 1nz-fe...

But, here something for you guys that have belt issues when it comes to slippage...

notice something different ????

Plus with that upgrade I'm hitting 7psi on 1st gear, 8 to 9 psi on top of 2nd, and 10psi at the top of 3rd...

But I dont know how its going to react to my newest and latest mod ... I just recently and successfull converted to 6spd trans. Thanx to KAAZ USA , Thanx to Mr. Ray Nakadatae and Saji and the rest of the guys at KAAZ
