Just want to know your experiences with different windshield wiper brands. I need new ones very soon and since central NJ just had it's first snowfall, I'd like to see what everone thinks. Please don't recommend those twin chrome wipers we all see at Wal-Mart.

why not??? Those are the best ones money can buy!!! Seriously, I used RainX blades before and they were great. I also tried another brand from Wal-Mart but can't remember the name of them, they were good.

a good trick i use is using sand paper on the blades to renew the rubber, really works, and preserves life of the blades. Just get some good sand paper and rub it along the rubber blades.
I have done it twice and it works great. I told my father and uesed that trick on his BMW and he was surprised it works. Pretty neat penny pincher.

That is fabulous...I'm going to have to try that with my escort when the blades run out next time (I just bought new ones)
Whatever brand you go with, I would highly recommend Silicone wiper blades.
