View Full Version : Fastest and Quickest tC's

We have heard a lot of talk of people claiming they have the fastet and/or the quickest tC. We don't think that we hold that title but would like to know where we stand...

We thought that we should start a post on the largest Scion Web board to see who the fastest and quickest are. Obviously there needs to be proof other than hope and dreams. So if you can post up a slip or a video it would be nice to see where we all stand in retro spec to each other. This way we can put a stop to the outlandish claims of "quickest/fastest" tC's.

1. Fastest/quickest all togther
2. Fastest/quickest All motor
3. Fastest/quickest. Turbo
4 Fastest/quickest S/C

I think a slip and or video is need to be considered to be on the list. If a mod could sticky an offical list that would great we will also maintain this on our site for quick refrence.

Also if you find any one making claims on other sites or boards they should be called out on her to validate the claim or quit claiming it...

Well we will start

Our Gray Car has been as quick as 12.14@114 MPH

http://www.thescionstore.com/video/ZPI2.wmv

Our Silver Car has been as fast as 12.49@115 MPH

http://www.zeropointindustries.net/gallery/albums/videos/zpi_orlando_12_49.wmv

I know it is hard to read the time we will post a slip to validate this tomorrow.

You should most likely have a STREET class and DRAG class to split up the cars with welded diff's and full roll cages vs cars that are daily driven back and forth to work. That would help out a lot too.

BTW, where is the gray car? Haven't seen it out in a while since it blew up the last time you were at the track. Since you ran your fastest ET and MPH with my turbo kit on your car, I don't think its a stretch to say that I could duplicate or top those numbers with a few "tweaks". Do you? I mean, even with 20lbs out of a bigger turbo and methenol injection you couldn't beat the E.T. and you only topped the MPH ONCE in a gutted car. I think you'll agree.

The grey car is being built to run in the Xbox/Nopi NDRA class next year you will see it back real soon.

As far as what your car can run I have no idea you have never taken it to a track...The kit was nothing more than a Stage 1 with the boost turned up so I would think that any of our customers could run very similair times to our 12.12 with our kit. That was the point of running an kit that had all the same componets of a kit that we sell. I would hope that we are at the bottom of the above list and that all of our customers are on top that is a greater victory than us having a fast car.

When we did hurt the grey car that was on a larger turbo and some diffrent stuff we where trying we are not afraid to blow our cars up for the better good of knowledge. We should have it back togther for testing sometime after the first of the year.

We are going to make a web page on our site for this...email all dyno charts with a list of mods and time slips to sean@zeropointindustries.net so that we can get a complete list going.....who will have the most powerful fastest all motor?????

You're absolutly correct. If they would like to end up with the same fate are you grey car and my white car did, they could easily hit in the ball park of those numbers on the stock block.

I have had my car to the track and I have dyno graphs and time slips for my car. I will be sure to post them on my website later today. I've been meaning to do so and since it obviously inspired this thread, I'll get on it when I have time.

This is a good idea though. The competative spirit amoung us should make this an interesting list. I hope to up the bar again in a couple of weeks when my car is back together. We can only wait and see though.

I am 100% confident that the grey car would have lasted forever on 13-14psi on a 16G. But we are all entitiled to our opinion

It did not however like 18 psi on the GT32 with no intercooler and being reved to moon. The tell tale tack shows a 7800 RPM as the last thing in memory. Even after all this we had one hurt piston.

I was not even aware that you had a website...if you have these videos and slips why hord them post them up so the community can learn from your knowledge and miastakes.

http://www.gordonraceengineering.com/Charts_Slips.html

Here are a Timeslip and dyno chart from our Project Scion tC-T. You can see the clutch is slipping by the way the torque drops off almost immediately. The car made a peak of 346 HP and 395 lb/ft of torque on this run. We never made it back with a good clutch before we took her apart to investigate the internals.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y47/kirchwrk/dyno-slip.jpg

Here is a timeslip from our Project Scion tC-t. Sorry for the poor quality as this is a camera phone pic, but you can still make out the numbers. The car went a fastest E.T. of 11.89 and quickest mph of 121 before the end of the day. We are hoping to have the car back out in the next couple of weeks at which point we will get some video's.

Funny how the world works. I just recieved a call from an un-named friend telling me of some "digitally enhanced" photo's that were going to be posted showing that this wasn't my car. Let me go ahead and nip these in the bud, before anyone comes on here and helps to bury themselves.

After a close inspection on my part, I almost missed it. The dyno chart on my webpage isn't exactly like the one that I see above and if it requires, I will point out how later.

Now, with that being said, I would hope that everyone on here will maintain their profressionalism and refrain from these childish attempts at slander. I know there are more importent things going on in some peoples lives that should get a little more attention. You know what I mean.

The only diffrence i see in the above photo and the one on your site is that you took a better picture. It just looks like you cut out the info where it tells you the cars lic. plate and date of run etc....

We are just a little curious as to why you are being shady on the info and how you are reving your tC to 7300 RPMS

We have no issues with Charles were actually very happy when we found out that he may have went 11's. If he can go 11's on a 16g this helps us, not hurts us. We then where very wondring why he was not posting this info on Scion Life when he likes to share everything else. Then we realized the 60fts and the MPH did not match the ET's on a 3000 pound car and that his dyno chart went to 7300+ rpms. This and the poor quality of the dyno charts led us to believe something was fishy. The chart has the vehicle info at the top all he has to do is post it and we can all see....his site also says that he ran the car multiple times the day they went 11's so post all the slips in nice clear photos so that we can all share the excitment.

I can only hope that this is not true. We got very excited when we had thought that a tC had went 11's with a 16G on it. I thought that there was something not right with the way the dyno chart looked and the Redline was off a bit.

If this is indeed a fake then I am truly disappointed that you would lie and trick all of us into thinking that a tC had finally broke the 11 second barrier. It is sad to see the one holy thing left in the online automotive community to have its integrity taken away.

In light of these recent developments we are not requesting that all dyno charts have the vehicle info at the top to be placed on the upcoming top ten lists that we are currently putting together. If you are the record holder there needs to be video proof to validate this claim as we do not want the potential fraud of one to give the Scion Community a bad name.

Well back to the drawing board and try to figure out how to get a tC into the 11’s

Amazing. Simply amazing. I will NOT sit around on this site and defend my character from a company that is run by someone that is known in this community for being a fraud. Kenny's last buisness venture failed and he is well on his way to being down the same path. I will not even go into the the ongoing lawsuits against ZPI from MULTIPLE locals that have pulled their cars from that shop. I know of paper work filed from an eclipse, and paper work being filed for a crx. Papers have already been filed and processed for bad checks to multiple places here locally and a warrant filed for someone that post's on this board from there. Not to mention a letter that is in the mail from another local buisness owner that is fed up of waiting for some sort of re-embursment after 6 months. If ANYONE ON THIS SITE WOULD LIKE PROOF OR TO SPEAK WITH THESE INDIVIDUALS PERSONALLY, PLEASE PM ME AND I WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH CONTACT INFORMATION.

The truth of the matter is that the fastest Kenny EVER went in a tC was with MY turbo kit. A kit that was built by myself and a friend OUTSIDE the walls of ZPI. When my car was down with the ecu issue, I allowed Kenny to put my kit on his car and it has done wonderful things for him. Fastest time I have seen since was about 4 tenths of a second slower. Nice. The simple fact that he wants to doubt, or "insinuate doubt" as it was so gracefully put in the thread asking for ANYONE with a successful turbo kit install to come forward, is a complete joke to me. There is no way I could have gone faster in another scion tC with the EXACT same kit. Impossible.

As stated, I will not spend valuble time defending myself against this on here. There will be three cars comming out of my shop within the next 6 weeks or so that I would put against ANY ZPI car. When the three are done, I'll give you a pile of keys and you can choose at random if you would like??? Consider that an official invitation.

This is the only reply you will see from me in this thread. Im sure the post's will be fantastically humorous, but some of us have bills that we actually pay. I have posted and offered real world experience since I signed up on this board, and I will continue to do so. Despite the desperate attemps of some to stifle my efforts.

I got no open tracks here...although rumor is that they are gonna be building a track that will be 1/4 mile, and a nascar oval about 25 mins away from me and is about %50 in the works of being developed already
Until then its the long haul to Englishtown when it opens back up in the spring.

We understand that.. We have to drive 2 hours to get to a 1/4 mile track.. It sucks, for sure.

Every time I drove on it, if it wasn't backed up, you got ran over doing the speed limit.

A Skyline got his car impounded over the weekend. He got pulled over by a Ford Windstar. No way in hell I would have stopped for that thing bro. I'm not saying it's cool to run from the cops, but I would have made something up :lalala: .

These are most likley confiscated cars that they are using. It seems to be working for them, because they are catching alot of people by using them :nails: .

With Injen CAI and removed axleback, did one hellish burnout down the track, got traction at the bleachers of Cecil. Oh well, 60 foot sucks, but MPH is movin, quickest ive seen.
