Introduction I guess.
Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Ryan, and I just bought an 06 tC in Black Sand Pearl. I'll be picking it up tommorrow. I must say the tC is a beautiful car with a lot of potential. This was my last vehicle
Here's what happened to it about a month ago.
Some idiot ran into it while it was parked outside my house and totalled her
The white marks in the road are from the rear bumper scraping the road. The guy moved the car forward quite a bit.
I can't wait to start on the scion, it's SUCH a nice car. I plan to install a turbo kit, possibly the turbonetics kit if possible. And exterior mods will also be a must. I'm an auto-body technician by trade, so if you ever have a question regarding body mods, or wrecks and how to repair them, I'll do my best to help out. This definetly seems to be the place for friendly research and help. It'll be great getting to know all of ya. Happy tuning!

ouch!!! man... i'm sorry for your loss. that ride looked awesome.
good luck on your future ride! you'll find lots of useful information on this site as well as others.. the scion community in general (there are a few exceptions) is an awesome family that loves these cars and care about each other. it's one of these reasons why when my first tC got totalled (never let anyone drive your car...), i had to get another one despite the fact i could of chose a better/faster/more expensive car. family man... welcome!

figured id throw up my welcome too. Like others said this place is filled with alot of useful info on the tC and other scion models if your interested. Well most of the others explained it. Welcome and enjoy your tC.

Congrats on gettin' a tC. You'll really like it. There is a lot of cool and friendly people on this site! I'm not car-savy, but this site and its helpful DIYs have showed me the way to modding and given me a few ideas of my own! Enjoy the site and the tC!
