So I went down to an import shop and asked them to change the orange color to white. They did everything fine but in the process forgot to change 1 to white, and changed the (!) and matience light from yellow to white. Changed the cruise light from green to white, and changed the heat light from red to white which I told them to leave alone... they're going to fix it but the only problem is they don't have the led's and I can't find a single place in tucson that sells them.

I ordered the super white ones off www.lcled.com and the only problem with that site is that most leds you have to order at least 30. I only need 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 white, and 1 red and can't find a place that sells singles anywhere. Does anyone know a website that I can purchase just those 5? or does anyone have some left over that they could sell/send me?

Shouldn't THEY be looking for them.... I'd be darn ticked if someone screwed up my setup like that....

Talk to cleancustoms, he might be able to point you in the right direction.... I'd just send your stuff to him and let him fix you up perfect.... He'll do it all to your exact needs with all the colors you want...

Where are the LEDs they desoldered?

exactly, you shouldn't be the ones concerning obtaining those leds since it was them who messed it up in the first place. (what happened to the ones they desoldered? they throw them away??) did you have to drop the gages with them? remember: you shouldn't drive without the cluster as the odometer's memory is located in the cluster.

*sigh*... times like these you wish you had someone you knew, or yourself that did the install. sorry about your misfortune and hope that this gets resolved soon.

They did everything fine

Haha that's fine? I wouldnt have paid for it if they screwed up that bad. They should have been checking it as they went.

They are looking for them, but no where here has them so I decided to check online. They are paying for the extra lights they messed up because "they don't know what happened" to the ones they desoldered, I already asked... they didn't turn out bad, they just messed up on 5 lights and then said it was "miscommunication" between us... O well as long as it gets fixed I'm happy.. No ones answered my question, where to get individual leds for this...?

Heres how they turned out...

So cleancustoms should be able to fix it if they cant..? I'm giving them the chance to fix it up right now since they've already done most of it. Wish I would of been able to do this myself or had a friend do it, I hate having other people do ____ and mess it up on top of it... Worst part is I even printed them out the step by step guide off scionlife incase they needed some help... yet they still managed to screw it up lol.

Question... does this void any warranties?

WeDriveScions

If you have a problem with your electrical system in relation to your heating/cooling control... and if you tach/speedo guages don't work in the future... they could question whether you caused that problem due to this modification...

In that regard, it may effect your "Warranty", but in actuality... the worst that could really happen in some blown fuses or the failure of something to work correctly, in which you'd have to buy a new console control or guage setup... and you'd have to screw up really bad to make that happen...

And in response to your need for a source of LED's... a good search will give you the information you need, as they have been a couple threads about how to do this... with info on where to buy the neccesary LED's.

I used 1206 LED's but they are only rated at 80mcd. However they are quite bright. I wonder how different they might look. I couldn't imagine them any brigher. They almost distract me from the road as is.
