I have the Borla axle back on my xB and like it a lot. However, I was wondering if it is possible to have a mid section built for it that would bolt/weld on to the cat? I'm sure that its "possible", but would this actually effect performance? If this exhaust was designed to be a rear section only, should I avoid screwing around with it? Also, would this change the sound dramatically? Not really planning on this, but was asking more out of curiosity about converting axle to cat in general.

 

ok, I made a cat back for "scionara" with his 5Zigen and he loves it. If you want to, PM him and he can tell you how it feels. It can be made, but you would have to have a muffler shop install it. Because the pipe after the catalytic converter would have to be cut and the new system welded on. Also the sound would be louder, because you are opening up the exhaust. NOTE:Automatic tranny scions are louder than the 5speeds. Let me know. :D

 

What's gonna really ____ you off is that I'm pretty sure that Borla now offers a cat back for the Scion.
