hey guys. i just purchased a 05 Scion tC release 1.0 about 3 months ago. i really want the supercharger package that the dealership offers but right now, and probably never, can fork out that kind of cash. i was wondering if it was possible to maybe tag the supercharger package onto my monthly car finance payment since it is a factory engine upgrade, just as the leather seats, Borla exhaust, and aftermarket rims are. this may be the wrong spot to ask this, but i was hoping someone is doing this now or a sales rep. with Scion would be on here. im basically asking this because i dont want to walk into Scion dealership tomorrow and look like a complete ___ asking this question. anyways, thanx for any replies in advance.

From what I was told at my dealership, no, but I have read on here that people have financed it from their dealers, so it might be possible depending on the dealership.

hmmmm, well when i went and purchased the scion FROM the dealership, the finance guy told me that the S/C package wasn't even for sale yet. therefore, i couldn't add it on right then. maybe if i go back tomorrow and ask him about it, he can maybe work out something. i surely hope so, really really want this thing. especially after seeing the gains with the new ZPI pulley.

Heres the thing thou, I don't think you can finance it after you buy your car, you have to finance it during the purchase of your tC, so I don't think you can do it anymore, sorry.

You can finance it after you buy the car, but you will not be able to just simply add it onto your financing of the car. You cannot finance it with the car unless a credit union or another outside source supplies the financing. Scion will not allow a customer to finance the car and the supercharger together in one single purchase. Each dealership/district may have slightly different rules, so do not be afraid to ask your dealership. The worse you will get is a "no."

You can try to get financing from a CU or other bank for the SC seperately though. I think this would be your best bet. It would almost be like adding it to your monthly car payment.

One possible loop-hole though--The small manuals say it may not be purchased at the same time as the new vehicle and may not be financed together with the new vehicle. Since it isn't a "new" vehicle, it might be possible.

Contact your dealership and good luck.

Yeah, if you bought your tC used you might have a chance of getting away with it. Could be some loop holes there. I know that Toyota Financial will absolutely under any circumstances finance the S/C. You should go and see what they can do for you... ...cant hurt!

I wonder if http://wreckedscions.com has anything to do with why toyota won't let you finance it with the car? :(
