Anyone having this same problem??
Hey everyone, I was driving down the road one day, and I finally turned my music down (Always have the music BLASTING!!). . . and I noticed this Rattling sound in my back seat.. I dont know if its the seatbelt hitting against the side, or if its the seat.... so, is anyone else ever had this problem, or IS having this?? . . Because it is getting VERY VERY Annoying....
Lol.. Okay, I tried the "Seat belt" clips, that dont work.. and My seat is in its Upright position.. now if you can all exit to the left and thank you, and I hope you had a GREAT flight with us today.,.
Try this it worked for me !!!
I had to take my back seat out to re-arrange some sheet metal to fit my new JBL's in the rear , when I unbolted the upper seat hinge from the seat the hinge rattled it had to be removed too and it has a spring steel washer that is slightly arched but one of mine was flat .....
So I rearched the flattie and then cut some nylon washers out of an old nylon/plastic bottle the same size. I then reinstalled the hinge with the spring washer on one side and the nylon one against it no more rattle....and the seat back folds easier now thanks to a little dry teflon.
And BONUS the new JBL 6 1/2" 3 ways ROCK!!!!!!

I think I know the sound you are referring to...It happens when your windows are down...The air that flows through the rear cabin area causes the seatbelts to flap against the side of the car. Latch/Buckle your seatbealts as if someone was sitting in that chair...I had the same problem and I buckle up all 3 in the back and the front passenger too. I love to drive with all 4 windows down and this has fixed my problem...Try it, I hope it works for you....

Thanks wings, and Yelo, . . . . . . . . . . . . YELO, I tried the seatbelt thing, but it still rattle, rattle, rattle. so I dont know WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG, lol . . .and Wings, sounds difficult, is it like a "Hour" job?? , , ,Because my dad will kill me if I mess with my car,
. . lol
Another place to look si the sorage area in back. Make sure everything is snapped in place and all locks are locked. Also.... shake your seat-backs and see if there is any play in the latch on them.
If none of these things work come on in and I'll sell you a new car!

Takes about 30 min. to R & R rear seat and make the washers also I found the cable for my fuel door was rattling against the body so I put a self sticking wire tye mount there and zip tied the cable.....
