my injen intake just got here and i got all excited and was ready to go put it in and as soon as i step outside it starts raining =[ no i have to wait till the end of the week.

 

Ehh.. ruck up soldier.. put that thing on in the rain

 

dont worry i am just came inside for a drink. damn rain wont stop me. so far so good ill post pics when im done or if the car slides of the jack and crushes my head(might have to wait a bit longer for those pics).

also when i went to drive it around the block i kept hearing this squeeking noise comming from the engine by the wheels do you think its just the brakes from the rain? it only happens when i step on the gas.

 

Looks like yuo had the same problem as me when I had my injen intake as SR. Is your filter pushed up against that metal piece because mine was and it left a hole in my filter. Your going to love the CAI when you get it on, you can definetly feel the gains and its a little quiter too.

 

yeah its pushed up but it should be fine for now its only gonna be there for a week or so.

a neat tip to try too is to remove the left lil cover in ur bumper so air can go right into ur cai. i did it and i felt a lil more pull than when it was there.

your hard work and persperation in the rain will be well worth it.

 

I hurt my neck watching the vid. You do realize removing that plastic piece will higly increase your chances of hydrolocking. Just something to think about.

 

Use some of the rubber stripping around the area where the filter is. This will help with the rubbing. It will rub on the rubber and not metal and save your filter. Also try adjusting the filter a little it helps.
