Is it worth it?

Do you like it?

Should I get it?

Lots of pics inside! PM's or replies are very much appreciated. I get paid on the 13th and wouldn't be ordering it before then

I personally wouldn't spend/waste my money on a dash kit. Unless your car is show quality...then its really unnecessary. Plus, on ebay, you never know what yur gonna get! But whatever floats YOUR boat I guess.

I like the look. Just have no idea about the quality. Let us know how it works out if you end up buying this kit.

Mine came from the dealer with the cf kit - which is nice and was installed well.
Those guy's pictures suck, so it's hard to say. I don't like the plates by the door switches and vents tho...

I like the look... But I had two of these kits on my Golf IV TDI and replaced the first after 6 months cause it scratched and dented on the edges WAY too easy.... the brushed aluminum material is really thin and held on my adhesive, so if you push on the edges, it can bend... a key or many things does it... as well as scratch, which doesn't really buff out easy.

It's not fun to replace either, as you have to use remover to get it all off, use alchohol to clean it, and then reapply.

After the second set started looking shady, I took it off... and didn't do it again... 350 dollars later.

The coated "CF" and other coated "wood" kits are more resilient and don't bend on the edges as easy... I've seen some of those kits last much longer.

Sorry...
It looks GREAT at first, but horrible for a daily driver.... same with the diamond-plate floor mats.

Its only a hundred dollars, I was thinking about getting the same kit; I probally will later on this year. Besides its covered by a full life time warrant, what do you have to lose?

Looks kinda tacky to me. I'd rather go with the OEM CF kit.

my friend had it on his maxima. As stated previously, it bends and scratches easily. However, when you try to put it on over a curved are, it may be a little hard to get to be in the same shape. I had a simulation aluminum on my millenia and it was, in my opinion, better.

I like the accent pieces for the doors and side vents. I wish I could get something like them for my car just to brighten up the interior and make it a little more interesting. But I think having the entire center stack being aluminum will be too overwhelming.

I cant honestly tell you how many times I have considered picking that up... The price is good and from the pics it looks quality.. If you do decide on it post up pics.. If decide not to paint my interior or do something crazy on the inside I might pick it up as well... Im undecided..

You're talking about the vinyl ones that are "brushed aluminum colored" right? I never would have expected them to be better, and I think the ebay store name is "R-vinyl" or something like that. They actually have a similar kit for about $25. Not quite as many pieces and nothing for the back cupholder area...

Gonna see if I can find a link for that one. I appreciate the replies from everyone so far. I had been concerned about durability, showing scratches, how well it goes on curved surfaces, etc.

I'll reply with that other kit if I can find it.

Found it! lol They show it on an xB and it says I can email them for a model specific example, so I'm gonna do that and then post it.

yea like scionLawyer said...the kit looks great and covers alot of real estate but you don't know what kind of quality your going to get. And if the kit is peeling off or doesnt stick..its really gunna suck.
