I was just wondering if anyone has ran with drag radials and what 60' times you were getting. With my srt4 I went from 2.2-2.3 60' times to 1.8's and lost a sec off my 1/4 time. I finally went to the track and after only getting one run in I got a 16.0 with a 2.45 60' time. With drag radials if I got a 2.0 60' it would have been like a 15.2 run with no other mods.

I think 225/50-15 bfg drag radials would be ideal. the overall diameter is about .5 inches smaller which would give slightly more aggressive gearing as well as good traction.

I have used BFgoodrich drag radials in the past with good results. They do take a little bit of getting used to, as would any other tire swap, but I think they are definitely worth considering :)

Since it's wheel and tire.... moved.

I have used them in the past with good results as well. the 225/50-15 bfg drag radial is what I used to get 1.8 60 times in the srt4.
Anybody know how long the stock clutch will last with DR's?

i'm thinking maybe some 15" steelies and some decent drag radials with a big sidewall would help big time... but then again i'm thinking w/ the wheel hop that an engine damper/stiffer motor mounts would be a big plus on getting the 60' times down... w/ stock 18's and i/h/e my best 60' was 2.4 sec holy wheel hop

i think drag radials would help alot but then again i think its dumb to run them if your bairly going to be hitting high 14's with them but if you run nitrous or a turbo or s/c then go for it and say hello to the 13's for me becosue ill never see them lol

acutally with a higher 50 profile drag radial wheel hop will be sometimes lessened. (this subject had been brought up on the srtforums a couple times)

a taller sidewall would help out a lot

on that note anyone know where to get some cheap used 15 inch steel wheels (2) for the tc?

thats due to the taller sidewall not having to be as stiff as the smaller one i went to a 225/45 and dont get wheel hop unless there is rain out side on the dry street they just spin
