I tried to purchase the TRD Quickshifter from Carson Toyota (newscionparts.com) about a month ago but last week I cancelled my order after they told me the part was on backorder until Feb. 06 (I figured a dealership might have one in stock). Unfortunately, everywhere I called they told me the shifter would be a special order from TRD. I searched the forums and found the ScionSport site and ordered the shifter from them. Today I received an email stating the following:

Dear xxx,

Toyota and TRD had discountinued this parts for the xB. Here is refund back to your credit card.


Is this true? If so, where can I buy one? eBay has nothing.

 

Hope not I was going to order one this week!! If this is true I would like to hear about some of the alternative brands.

Do a search on ebay with "scion quickshifter" in the search field. They are all over the place...I would recommend SCION WAREHOUSE/TOYOTA MALL at $129.50. They are very nice to deal with...

I picked up my Box on November 19, 2005 and the TRD quick shifter was one of the options I ordered. I called yesterday and it's still not in. The parts department called TRD and was told that they are shipping out 100 of them on January 30th. I can't believe it is taking this long.

 

Well, it's been over a week and the guy finally emailed me. He said the shifter is on backorder, which sucks because I thought he had the item in stock. I told him to give me a refund and I'm checking out other auctions on eBay.
