Default Uh Oh...

K. This is my first time posting on this site. Please bear with me. I have an '05 Scion tC. Flint Mica. Powdercoated gunmetal rims.

Recently I backed over a curb at a friends house. Well the lower part of the front bumper cover was ripped. "the lip" was ripped, but not ripped off. Just looks like ____. The body shop at my work says that its gonna take $650 to replace and paint one....

Does anyone know where I can get a cheaper front bumper?

Does anyone have an OEM front bumper that is in Flint Mica who wants to sell?

thanks

The best option is to post a WTB when you have more than 50 posts, as that is the prerequisit. I don't think anyone around has something along that line.

That item will most likely become a common WTB instead of FS! Good luck - check ebay too - you never know.

if you don't mind getting a used one you can always check www.car-parts.com My bodyshop uses that site when we need to find parts or prices....

either that or look for a site like Scionsport.com that sell individual parts of a body kit and just get the front. It'll be a whole lot cheaper than getting a stock one from a dealer/

I think the bottom of the front bumper got ripped as well. Try car-parts.......one of the best places I think.

That's a bummer. I hate that sound. You know instantly just exactly what it is too.

Sorry.

The worst I have heard so far is the front lip of my body kit scraping on the curb/bottoming out when I turn into a parking lot to fast.........makes me cringe just thinking about it.........

You can look at these:

http://www.streetconcept.com/shopdis...pe=Body%20Kits

or here:
http://www.racingsolution.com/showpa...on=DisplayPart

Here's another one:
http://www.bodykits.org/search.html

and
http://www.sportcompactonly.com/prod...FQ3dIgodrBVrSg

How about a drifter bumper
http://krazykustomzonline.com/scion-...2_567_568.html

Not a lot of help but it's a start if you want to go with a new look.
