C30 - What do you think?
So pending both the Toyobaru and tC replacement... I'm considering a C30 down the road. The 2010 model will see a bit of a cosmetic change and I think it helps quite a bit. I like it...

It's obviously a bit more than the tC... but I like the size. It has decent power thanks to the T5 (by specs anyway). The warranty/maintenance package from Volvo seems pretty nice as well (no need to pay for the extended warranty). I would probably want the Preferred Package too (Xenons, Fogs, Power Seats, etc).
Thing is I've never driven one. I think I did get a chance to sit in one a bit at the NY auto show, but I didn't spend a whole lot of time with it, b/c it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
So has anyone driven one of the current generations? Any thoughts on it in general?
Oh... and I don't necessarily need to hear what I should consider instead... frankly I don't care. I'm just throwing ideas around and wanted some input on the C30 in particular.

That's the one thing I actually have issue with. The opening for the hatch is JUST the glass part. That is the hatch. So it looks like it's a bit awkward to get in and out of. Not that I'd need to put a kitchen table in it or anything though.
i like it, the older ones were okay (i considered trading the tC in a while ago and that was one of my choices), my gf things they are hideous (no surprise lol) and i like the new ones a lot better. (they are quick too!!)
So I might be out of the loop on this, but I just read about their Overseas Delivery program. From what I've read (and I still think I'm missing something) you get:
- 8% off MSRP
- 2 round trip tickets to Sweden
- 1 night in a hotel
- "VIP" treatment pickup/drop off
- Tour of the factory
- Pick up YOUR car
- 15 days of insurance to drive around Europe
- Free delivery home of new car
The only major catch I've found so far is that when you drop it back off to have it shipped home, it takes 6-10 weeks for delivery. But for a "free" trip to Sweden?
Anyone know anything about this?

Oh ya, here's the site if anyone can skim through and find something I'm missing:

Only thing is that I would need to have a passport. So even if I bought the car next year, I'd still need to apply for a passport soon since they apparently take forever.
