Default ok im a newbie again

ok so im new again (atleast to the xb section)

im talking my buddy out of a s/c matrix xr and trying to talk him in to a xb

were looking to do a auto x setup with it and currently can get financed up to 21k and still have payments in the range he wants (hes 18 and just started collage so he needs to budget)

but what are some good suggested trd parts for the box

i know for the tc the only things worth getting are the sway bar and the s/c im hopeing for the box there are better options for it to help out with performance

and is there any thing else you suggest that should be purchased ?

feel free to move this or even lock it if i posed in the wrong place or you feel i should just search more but im just trying to collect info at this point

and thanks for the help

the only worthwile trd mods are the clutch (better clutches can be had for cheaper, but its a part directly in the drivetrain, so warranty friendly is better)
the shortshifter (misshifts can't be blamed on overly short quickshifter)
and springs, waranty friendly again.
All these things have cheaper sometimes (most of the time) better alternatives, but for warranty friendliness the clutch is a good bet.

The exhaust and intake yield several HP, and the manual is much 'peppier' and both can be had under warranty, if that is an issue.

oh no warrenty we have realy no concern for as far as suspension or bolt ons but things like the clutch (now that i know there is a trd one) will probly be wrapped in the payments

(either im retarted or just blind but i cant find any trd stuff for the xb on the trd site)

how are the perrin parts for the xb i know that they seem to be popular but i never heared of them until looking in to the xb aftermarket

go to the scion site and look for accessories there. autocrossing you'll want to focus on mostly suspsension and balance of the car. may wanna run it stock first then add on stuff.
